An "Organizer" is a user with organizer privileges, meaning their user account has a license tied to it that allows them to be able to create sessions and invite guests. A "Guest" user account does not have a license, and is able to join sessions only, not create them. A participant refers to all attendees of a session, "Organizer", and "Guest(s)".
This is for security reasons. We are working on a macOS keychain so that you can store this information in the future.

Each circle with a number corresponds with an audio channel (1-16).
The colors reflected in the channels are post-fader (i.e., post volume slider) level indicators:
Off (< -75dB FS)
Green (> - 75db FS)
Orange (> -3dB FS)
Red (> -.5dB FS)
The slider under Stream audio is a volume slider. To turn the stream audio all the way off, slide the slider all the way to the left. This volume slider controls the stream output audio to local speakers, and does not affect the input gain of the stream itself.
Remoto Playback is a real time review and approve tool, and does not communicate with the source DAW/NLE in any way. Source media is not stored by Remoto Playback. There is no ability to perform non-live sessions.
There is no direct communication between the host DAW/NLE and Remoto Playback. All exchanges are completed at the operation system level.
There are two different approaches as to how Remoto Playback handles mixdown. They are dependent upon the codec used for streaming. Remoto does not apply custom algorithms, any mixdown method approved by the supported codec is supported by Remoto Playback.
With Streaming Type: Desktop Only - Remoto supports midxown to stereo (Lo-Ro) from 5.1 and 7.1 via Opus. Please see these Opus specifications.
With Streaming Type: Desktop & Web - Remoto supports mixdown to stereo from 5.1 and 7.1 via Dolby AAC.
